Egypt diving safari to the Fury Shoals reefs in the southern Red Sea
This tour is specially designed for families, safari newcomers, underwater photographers and guests who would like to enjoy a relaxed week on the boat. Non-diving/snorkeling guests are also very welcome!
It is possible to do the SSI Open Water Diver course (by prior arrangement).
The first days of the week will be spent on the beautiful Sataya Reef, where we can do the first part of the training with the diving students. For the other participants, whether divers or snorkelers, there are many opportunities for varied dives or snorkeling on this reef – completely relaxed with time and leisure. If you want to take photos in peace, you can find many motifs here, including macro subjects. There are reef blocks overgrown with lush soft corals full of life, a good chance of seeing turtles, rays and all kinds of schools of fish.
Another special highlight is the school of spinner dolphins that live in the lagoon and can be visited by snorkeling – of course with distance and respect for the animals.
During the second part of the week, we explore the other beautiful reefs of Fury Shoals. There is plenty of variety here, from coral gardens and small caverns to steep walls and easy-to-dive but beautifully overgrown wrecks.
